Big Beautiful and Classy… Fiona lives up to her name! She stands a stout built 16hh. She is for sure big enough to carry any size of rider. She has been involved in every aspect of ranch life from herding to sorting and doctoring on a daily basis. She has a great handle, slide stops, backs, opens/shuts gates and will track a cow. She is not afraid of a mad momma cow or an aggressive bull, she will stand her ground. She will ride anywhere in the group… front, back, middle or head off on her own without a fuss. Fiona is quiet to handle, does all the basics, washing, pickup feet, load and is easy to groom. She has been ridden in rough country and will climb the steep hills, she goes patiently and easy down the rocky mountain sides, crosses water, bridges, logs, and anything else that might be in your way. She is traffic safe as well. Fiona has got along with other horses when she’s turned out in my pasture and hasn’t caused any fuss. She stands quiet if she’s in his stall. From Ranch to Trail she is safe and broke and someone is going to get a great riding partner for years to come!
